KKIT Design - Kevin Kosa1. Scope
These license terms apply to all digital files offered by KKIT Design - Kevin Kosa via third-party platforms (e.g., Patreon, Ko-fi, Thingiverse, or comparable services).This includes in particular:
- 3D models (e.g., STL files)
- Design files
- Printed circuit board (PCB) designs
- Circuit schematics
- Gerber files
- other digital engineering or development data
By purchasing or downloading any file, the user agrees to these license terms.
2. Copyright
All provided files are protected by copyright law.The copyright holder and rights owner is Kevin Kosa (KKIT Design).
Purchase of a file does not transfer ownership of the work.
Only a simple, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable usage right is granted under these terms.
3. Permitted Use (Private License)
Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing, the purchaser is granted a strictly private license to:- use the files for private, non-commercial purposes
- store the files on personal devices
- produce 3D prints for personal use only
- manufacture individual circuit boards or electronic devices for personal use only
- modify or adapt the files exclusively for private use
Distribution of modified versions is not permitted.
4. Prohibited Use
Without explicit written permission from the rights holder, the following is strictly prohibited:- any form of commercial use
- sale of 3D-printed objects
- commercial manufacturing of electronic products
- mass production
- resale or redistribution of the digital files
- uploading or publishing on other platforms
- making the files publicly available
- sharing with third parties, including free distribution
- publishing or distributing modified versions
- creation and publication of derivative works (“remixes”)
- use in industrial or commercial production environments
5. Platform Terms
The respective terms of use of the third-party platform through which the purchase is made also apply.These license terms supplement the platform’s own terms.
Copyright remains unaffected at all times.
6. Electronic Designs and Product Safety
For provided PCB designs, circuit schematics, or other electronic engineering data, use is entirely at the user’s own risk.The provided files do not constitute tested or certified products.
No representation is made regarding compliance with legal or regulatory standards (including but not limited to CE requirements, EMC regulations, or safety standards).
Commercial manufacturing or placing products on the market based on these files is not permitted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for damages resulting from improper use, faulty assembly, or non-compliant implementation.
7. Liability
The files are provided “as is”.No warranty is given regarding accuracy, functionality, or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, liability for direct or indirect damages is excluded.
